What did it look like in the beginning?

Pastor Trent moved to start a small group.
Year zero was prayer, meetings, and questions. We had to identify what it would look like, how it would function, and how leadership will play out.
We started a short-term Bible study so that we could meet new people, grow relationships, and cast vision.
It gave people an avenue for invitation.
From that Bible Study, we created five small groups.
We were looking for a retail space that could fit 300 people which included rooms for kids.
If you started today, you are at least two years out from launch.
We were not looking at a school for this location.
In God’s sovereignty and grace, God placed Nehemiah right where he needed to be.
We will start in the school, but we will continue to look for a permanent space.
We want to use the language of location.

Signature ministries: Worship, Small Groups, Guest Services, Family Ministries, Journey Process.
Supporting ministries: College Ministry and local missions outreach.

Why did you start saving?

The Lord will open up and allow us to do things if we have the margin to do them.
God expects us to be faithful in the preparation, as we pray, we prepare.
