What is a Big Day?

It can be anything you make it, for us, it’s been more evangelistic, relational, and fun.
You are putting more into the experience on a Sunday.
It gives people an opportunity to invite their lost friends.

Put your best foot forward.
The Lead Pastor should preach.

Four More Principles Behind the Power of the Big Day

Teach your people how to invite their friends.

It is hard for people to invite them unless you give them examples.

Give examples in announcements and sermons.
Create cards that they can hand out.
Mailers can be sent to spark conversations.

Build Momentum

If the goal is to invite everybody, they need to know the why behind that.
Start a brand new series that day.

You want to focus on the next step.

What is it? Is it to receive Christ or to be baptized?
Is it for them to come back next Sunday?

You need to have a solid guest experience program.

It starts when they get out of their car to follow up later that week.
You need to have signs to show them where to go.
You want to be able to reach out and get them to come back.
You want to over-prepare for decisions that might happen.
God blesses our preparation.
